Oak Grove Branch Closing for Renovations
March 13, 2012
The Oak Grove Branch will be closed on March 30th and 31st. During this time, the library will be repainted. The branch will reopen Monday, April 2nd at 9:00 a.m.
For services, please visit the Grain Valley Branch while we are temporarily closed on Friday and Saturday. However, our branch's book drop will remain open 24/7 for returns.
Items placed on hold the week before the closing may not become available before the branch is closed. During this time, selecting a different pickup location than the branch that is closed would be advisable for items that are immediately available. If an item has a long waiting list, it will not be necessary to choose a different pickup location.
Any holds that are not picked up at the branch before the renovation closing will still be available a full ten days after the branch reopens.
We apologize for any inconvenience to patrons.

Re: why
Thank you for commenting on our blog post. We appreciate your feedback. It was necessary to close the library for safety concerns during the repainting. We strive to maintain a safe and inviting environment for all patrons including children, and apologize for the temporary inconvenience.
