No More School Days
May 28, 2013
School is finally coming to an end, and kids have the freedom of summer vacation. No more homework, no more school, no more tests, and no more getting up early in the morning. Summer is a time for the kids to relax and find ways to stay cool. From swimming at the pool or staying inside to get away from the summer heat, kids no longer have worries and can spend the day lounging in their pajamas. One of the greatest things about summer (besides sleeping until noon) is that now, instead of reading a book your teacher is making you read, you can pick any book you want!
There are so many books to choose from. You can have a series of adventure and fantasy with the Chronicles of Narnia: a tale of four children who travel to another word; the darker tale of misfortune from Series of Unfortunate Events: a tale of three orphans who are being chased down by a distant cousin who wants their inheritance; the stories of Greg in his school days in Diary of a Wimpy Kid; or maybe a little magic with Harry Potter: a kid named Harry who finds out he is a wizard opening new doors for him.
So, while lounging about in your pajamas, sitting in the comfort of your home, and staying away from the heat, grab a good book of tales, fantasy, and adventure. Unlock the imagination that comes from a good book. The more you read, the more pictures that will dance around in your head of magic or sword fighting.
