No. 1 in Fiction and Film

I have enjoyed reading the series of books by Alexander McCall Smith, The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency. So, I was excited to watch the DVD/television production. This time the filmed version is every bit as good as the book. Great casting follows the storyline well and leaves you with the same feeling of satisfaction.

The novels feature the main character of Precious Ramotswe, a "kind hearted woman of traditional build" who has a knack for solving mysteries and a fondness for Red Bush tea. Her sensible nature and love of her native country, Botswana, makes this a pleasant change from the usual mystery series. A good read and a good watch!
