Nightmare of the Missing
December 28, 2012
What would you do if your wife didn't come home? No call, no messages, nothing. It's just you and your 7-year-old daughter wondering where is she? What happened? Is she still alive?
Never Coming Back is a psychological thriller, which has readers obsessed across Scandinavia and England, that is now making its American debut. The wife is still alive. She is actually just across the street, locked in a specially rigged panic room in the basement that allows to watch a video feed of her husband and daughter as they attempt to cope with her disappearance. This story is about revenge for a tragedy that happened many years prior, which is not revealed until the last chapter.
Library Journal says readers, "should be prepared: this is not for the squeamish. Although set at a fast pace, the graphic sex acts and psychological torture are distracting and disturbing."
