New Year! New Year? Are you kidding me? Again? Geez, didn't we JUST do this? Gosh, I hardly got used to writing 2001 and... what? It's what?  2013!!!!! Oh my. Well I guess I did remember that. Two Grandsons born in 2011 and another in 201... Yes, I guess you are right .... I just need to get my mind wrapped around that number 13. Unlucky? Lucky? We give such importance to certain numbers! Oh, and then you get into birthdays! Why does 30 sound SO much older than 29? Or 49, so much older than 50? When you're 80, they ALL sound younger!

2013, well I guess the world didn't end last December. Humph, wonder what the next predicton will be? I think marketing digs these things out so they can sell canned goods, bottled water, and sleeping bags. Why don't they predict something that I want to need? Like a shoe shortage or maybe a ban on old movies so I could stock up on my favorites and blame it on a psychic phenomenon. 2013.... it's beginning to grow on me... Fungus grows on things. too.... Guess I'll get used to it.
