New Faces Abound At the Smithville Branch

Last week, I blogged about the new hours that the library is now open. This week, I would like to talk about the new faces you will be seeing in the branch. In order to have enough help to cover staffing for the new hours and to meet the needs of our customers, there has been a flurry of hiring going on. We have hired 5 new staff members and a 6th will be here within the next month.

I am happy to welcome these new staff members, and I hope that all of you will welcome them too. Like the rest of our great staff, they will be working very hard to help all of you enjoy your visit to  the Smithville Branch.

So if you see a new face, please stop and chat a minute so that you can get to know any or all of the new staff members. Also, feel free to stop and chat a minute with all of us you are already familiar with. We welcome the opportunity to hear what you have to say. Remember, we are now open four nights a week. So, you have two more nights a week to stop in and visit.
