New Exhibit on Global and Multicultural Education Opens at the Midwest Genealogy Center
May 24, 2012
Help us celebrate the opening of a new exhibit marking the 30th anniversary of the organization, Global and Multicultural Education, on the first weekend in June. Organized in 1982, Global and Multicultural Education or G.A.M.E. is a Kansas City, Missouri not-for-profit that promotes education and advocacy related to global understanding, world citizenship, human rights, the environment, and the development of a more peaceful world. G.A.M.E. will open an exhibit to the public on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Monday, June 4, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The exhibit will be displayed in the Northeast Hall at the Midwest Genealogy Center. It includes 30 years of G.A.M.E.’s artifacts and memorabilia.
On Sunday, June 3rd, G.A.M.E. will also donate their historical archives to the Midwest Genealogy Center. Follow the link for more information on G.A.M.E. and their many events and programs.
