Shatto Milk Company, famous for their glass bottles and root beer flavored milk, is just a short thirty minute drive north of the Edgerton Branch. Shatto will be opening their dairy farm for tours the afternoon of Edgerton Branch’s 13th Annual Frog Jumping Contest: Wednesday, June 20th, 2012. Participants may want to pack a picnic lunch and make a day trip of these two fun activities. The Library has clean restrooms and a nearby park with picnic shelters. There is a little creek at the park that might be a good place to release frogs after the contest!
