Need Help Studying for the GED?
September 01, 2010
Did you know the Blue Ridge Branch offers weekly GED tutoring? On Wednesday nights from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the incredibly helpful Kathy Stack, GED lady extraordinaire, will go over the areas of the test that individuals find troublesome. Kathy reports that multiple students she’s worked with have successfully passed their GED tests – and congratulations to them!
Not only is this service offered conveniently at the Blue Ridge Branch, there is no cost to attend. These classes are offered through the Hickman Mills School District’s “Caring Communities” program.
More information is available by the following means:
- Kathy Stack, Coordinator 816-260-1774
- Caring Communities 816-316-7977

There is another great way to study and practice for this test (and other areas like elementary math, civil service practice tests, computer skills, and many more!), especially if Wednesday evenings are not an option. Mid-Continent Public Library offers a database that can be accessed from home, from the library, or from any Internet computer, called LearningExpress Library. Check it out, and see what you can learn!
