A grouchy poet

Did you know that Friday, October 15 is National Grouch Day and National Poetry Day? I thought I might celebrate the day by looking up grouchy poetry. So, I went to Columbia Granger’s World of Poetry on Mid-Continent Public Library’s Literature and Language Arts research database. I found a poem by Edgar Albert Guest titled It Isn’t Costly. It is a lovely poem actually, and it made me feel anything but grouchy. Check it out, or better yet, write a grouchy poem of your own!
