Nanowrimo Kick-Off Parties

Every ludicrous journey deserves a good send-off. Like spending 30 days writing a 50,000-word novel; that definitely counts. This year the Kansas City metro will be hosting two--that's right--two kick-off parties to inaugurate National Novel Writing Month 2010. The first is on October 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Johnson County Central Resource Library. The second will be at the Writers Place on Sunday, October 24th at 6:30 p.m. For complete details and to let them know you're coming, visit the Nanowrimo Kansas City thread. Last year, I went to the Writers Place, a place that every Kansas City writer should visit. This year, though, I'll be celebrating with my Johnson County kindred spirits.
