Mysterious Thoughts on a Thursday

The Thursday Mystery Book Club gives Lethal Legacy by Linda Fairstein 3 magnifying glasses (out of 5). They found the mystery plot weak, and felt that the author was attempting to insert too much historical information into the story - losing the thread of the mystery. Overall, the historical information was interesting, and most of the group is willing to give the author another try. Two members have read the Alex Cooper series, and they agree that this isn’t Fairstein’s best. The other books in this series focus better on the mystery and give the reader more background on characters Coop, Mike and Mercer. They suggest starting at the beginning with Final Jeopardy.
