My Library: Joan
June 29, 2010
What are you doing at the library today? Working! I am putting books on hold to fill Teacher Assistant requests. We can help teachers supplement their classroom books with items from our library system.
How long have you worked at the library? I have worked here 5 ½ years. I started as a sub and now am working half-time.
What is the best part of your job? Working with the customers and the staff.
What is the last good book that you’ve read? I just finished The Shadow of Your Smile by Mary Higgins Clark.
What are the ways you find out about new books? I check the Coming Soon and New Book sections of the website. I also see new books as they arrive at our branch.
How long have you used the library? As a child I used the Paseo High School Library in the summer. Later when I was in high school, I was a patron at the Raytown Branch.
