Motorhome or RV? Whichever name you choose, it is a fun way to go camping. It is not "roughing it." In a motorhome, you have all of the modern conveniences at your fingertips, and you can camp in style! Driving a motorhome is a bit of a challenge. Ours is about 8 ft. wide, so you have to allow for around 3 extra feet on the sides and a lot more in length. Our first trip out, we discovered that you have to swing wider to go around curbs, and even shallow ditches are a big bump! The comfort and convenience of having your home with you makes up for the cost of fuel and the challenge of driving a vehicle of its size.
