MGC's Research Checklist
November 18, 2010
Have you ever felt confused by all of your genealogy information? Like you are swimming in so many facts that it is hard to keep your head above the water? Well, the Midwest Genealogy Center has a new form that will hopefully help to alleviate your research hardships. Our new form is the Research Checklist. The primary purpose of the checklist is to keep track of what information you have already found on an individual and what you need to be looking for. On the checklist, you will find listed most everything that you might need to find that would be of genealogical value such as: the federal censuses, vital records (birth, marriage, and death certificates), military, land, and probate records, as well as other things you might want to keep an eye out for. The MGC Research Checklist is available here on our website to print or save along with our many other genealogy forms, or you can come by the library and pick up a copy.
