Mexican Cooking With a Twist
October 03, 2011
Do you want to learn to cook Mexican dishes with a twist? Are you interested in what ancient Mayans cooked? Want to learn how to cook Yucatecan food?
The culinary delights of a typical Yucatecan kitchen come from a mouth-watering mixture of European, Mexican and Caribbean flavors. The Yucatan region has cultural and commercial ties with Cuba, New Orleans and European countries. These connections influenced the Yucatecan cuisine and turned it into one of the most renowned in Mexico and the whole world.
Join us as we watch a cooking demonstration by Chef Tito, the owner of Latin Bistro, on Thursday, October 6th at 6 p.m. at the Antioch branch of MCPL.
