Meetup with Someone New

Are you new in town or just looking for a new group of people to hang out with? Do you have an interest or hobby and would like to meet others with whom you can share them? Did you know that there is a wide variety of social groups in the Kansas City area that you can join? They are called "Meetup" groups, and they can be found online at http://www.meetup.com/find/.

Are you looking to get into shape or just want a group of people to stay in shape with? Try one of the hiking, cycling, or fitness clubs, such as the Kansas City Hiking Meetup Group. Are you single? There are a variety of singles groups, some roughly divided into age groups, such as the Kansas City Singles Under 45 and Kansas City Singles Over 45 Meetup Groups. You say you would like to get out more but you just don’t have a lot of money? Try Kansas City’s Friendly, Frugal Fun Seeker’s group. There are groups that are brought together by interests like knitting, volunteering, parenthood, being a dog owner, gaming, you name it. The best part is that if there isn’t a "Meetup" group that meets your interest, you are able to start one yourself.
