Meet the Edgerton Staff: Vicki

This month I had the pleasure of interviewing Edgerton staff member, Vicki.

Q: What is the position you hold? And what are some of your duties?
A: I am a Librarian Assistant I (half time). My duties are Adult Book Club facilitator, book displays, and the branch coordinator for the information that goes in the Access Guides.

Q: How long have you worked for MCPL?
A: 13 years.

Q: What is one of your highlights?
A: Watching the younger patrons grow up and continue to read.

Q: What are some of the changes you have seen?
A: The change to eBooks and the number of people that use them and the self-checkouts at the big branches. Also, the change from the index computer system to the current system, Workflows. But, my favorite is the online catalog, accessible from home.
