Marco Continues to Monaco

Today, we arrived in Monaco. This is a busy place. Flags are flying, flowers are blooming, and the palace is decorated. Everyone is all abuzz about the wedding between Prince Albert and Charlene. Speaking of a love story, I saw a beautiful leather bookmark with jewels in a store window. I think I’m in love, but I realize she’s a little out of my class.

The view from the top of the old town is magnificent. The harbor is filled with yachts floating in the turquoise Mediterranean. The sun is gently shining, and a cool breeze gently cools all the tourists. No wonder people choose to live in this seaside country. Tomorrow, it’s off to Italy.
