Magic and Science: That's "Big Kid Stuff" at Kearney Branch
June 06, 2011
Here at the Mid-Continent Public Library-Kearney Branch, we recognize that sometimes big kids just want something all their own.
This summer we have two afternoon programs designed for kids 7 and older.
Learn easy to perform magic tricks at MacGyver Magic, Thursday, June 23 at 2 p.m. Magic can be made with all sorts of items you can find at home. Amaze your friends and family with magic, and make points with mom by cleaning out your junk drawer too!
Dry ice fog, flashy fireballs, and mysterious floating beach balls await you at Mad Science Demonstrates Fire and Ice, Thursday, July 21 at 2 p.m. Join the Mad Science scientists and discover the super science secrets that sizzle and freeze.
All of our programs are free and registration is requested.
