Mad For Mad Men

I have a crazy addiction that I can't seem to find a cure for. I'm addicted to Mad Men, AMC's superb drama set in the world of Madison Avenue in the 1960s. The set design, acting, writing, and costume design are all first rate. It's won multiple Emmy Awards and is one of the most discussed shows on cable TV. 

Season Five just ended, but if you've never seen the show, MCPL does carry seasons one, two, three, and four on DVD. I highly recommend this riveting show. In fact, we have several Mad Men fans here at the Lee's Summit Branch, and we're going to miss our water cooler discussions we had every week while the show was on. It's going to run for two more seasons, so there will definitely be more discussions to look forward to in the next couple of years.
