Mac's Stick with Reading

The Grain Valley Branch had the pleasure of having Mac, the Missouri Mavericks Mascot; Bob Rennison, the Mavericks radio announcer; and Darin Henderson, the official DJ for the Mavericks do their new program Stick With Reading. This program not only promotes the Missouri Mavericks and hockey, but it also promotes reading.

Bob Rennison read Z is for Zamboni while Mac did his crazy antics to music. The goals of this fairly new program are to teach kids about the game of hockey, show that reading is cool, and to have fun. We all enjoyed this entertaining and educational program a lot.
