By the Luck of Eggs and the Irish

It’s that time of year again when you worry and sweat about what to wear on March 17th so you don’t get pinched. Everyone knows this date well; it’s Saint Patrick’s Day! This year, as you eat your corned beef and cabbage and celebrate all things Irish, there are two things you must do.

First, you need to visit the Liberty Branch on March 15th at 7:00 p.m. as there will be a great program on Paper-Maché Easter Eggs. Secondly, come out to Kansas City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Midtown/Broadway/Westport on March 17th at 11:00 a.m. MCPL is excited to be a part of their 40th Anniversary celebration this year.

Now don’t forget the old Irish proverb, "May Saint Patrick guard you wherever you go, and guide you in whatever you do!"
