Looking For Adventure

In preparing for an upcoming trip down under, I started looking for a different style of travel book since I had already read the typical travel guides. I soon found the book Fly Solo by Teresa Rodriguez Williamson.

This author breaks down the 50 best locations, and tells you "why the place rocks!" She also gives you the top 10 extraordinary experiences for that city, offers advice on accessories (what to bring, what to wear), and provides numerous traveling tips. What I found most unique inside this travel book was the list of "read before you go" titles (many of which are fiction set in that particular city). The author has done an exceptional job of getting you thinking about the location, and ensuring you are well versed in the city you are visiting. The book is entertaining -- not just a list of what to do and where to go. I highly recommend you read this book before venturing out, or just use it as your travel "dream" book. Happy travels!
