- Summer Reading Program
The theme for our summer reading program for 2012 is Dream Big, Read! Our program is a fun and easy way for kids from babies to teens to earn free books and prizes. It starts on May 21st! - Internet Access
Every branch has computers for public use. We also offer free Wi-Fi. - Genealogy
Genealogy is the fastest growing hobby in North America. Our genealogy branch is the largest free-standing public genealogy library in the United States. Last year, over 118,000 patrons visited this library. Take advantage of the microfilm sources, microfiche records, a 102,000 title reference book collection, and the Midwest Genealogy Center’s circulating collection. - Downloadable eBooks and audiobooks.

We offer convenience and service for patrons that are not close to a MCPL branch or who are home-bound and not able to visit the library. If you cannot come to us, we will come to you. - Interlibrary Loan
If you want to read a book, view a movie, or listen to music that is not available through MCPL, we offer to find the item for you from other library systems around the world. - Teacher Assistance
This service allows teachers and daycare providers to submit requests to Library staff for collections of items for use in the classroom or in the library.
