Literacy Builders for Kids
September 01, 2010
If you have little ones learning to read, check out two of our awesome databases! They are BookFlix and TumbleBook Library. Both are packed with great stuff for kids pre-K to 3rd grade.
Bookflix teaches early reading skills by pairing a fiction and a non-fiction title that can be read online with or without "read-along" audio. It also includes some lesson plans for parents and teachers.
TumbleBook Library has animated audiobooks, read-alongs, and foreign language titles. It includes games, and the kids can even make their own playlist!
Both are fun educational resources so be sure to check them out!
