The Library Saved Us Almost $400!
February 26, 2013
My hubby has worked very hard to lose 30 lbs. One of the new lifestyle changes he has made is to have a smoothie for breakfast. Well, our second blender (in 6 months) bit the dust. Realizing it was a design error on the manufacturer’s part, we weren’t about to invest in another from the same brand. What to do? MCPL to the rescue!
From MCPL's website, I found Consumer Reports. After entering the Consumer Reports site, I selected the "Apppliances" tab. I didn’t have to look very far for the answer to our dilemma. I was greeted by the headline, "2 Top Blenders in the Mix." To make a long story short, reviewers at Consumer Reports found no difference in performance between a $60 blender and a $450 blender! Guess which one we bought? Now we’re just waiting for the UPS Truck to pull up.
