From the Library of Marilyn

Roxie, our resident 50’s housewife, has had a makeover. Now, she’s Marilyn!  During the month of August, the Lone Jack Branch has a special display highlighting Marilyn Monroe’s extensive library of classics.

Known as a blonde bombshell, Marilyn was an avid reader. When she died, she had amassed a library of over 400 classics, including books on religion, theater, literature, art, psychology and philosophy.
