Library Lover's Month

February 07, 2012

It’s love’s special month, and it seems the whole world is decorated in red and pink. Small paper boxes of chocolates and packages of conversation hearts line the shelves at the stores. Kids are busy cutting and pasting together Valentine cards for their friends and decorating their classrooms. It’s a time when we celebrate those we love. Don’t you think the library should be on your list?

February is Library Lover’s Month! What makes you swoon over the library? Are you pining for new eBooks? Do you sit around waiting for the ILL Department to let you know your out-of-system item is in? Are you writing love letters to your favorite books, giving them excellent reviews?

What do you love about the library? For me, "It’s only a room with shelves and books, but it’s far more magical than it looks!"

What's not to love about the library?

That's the question.

I Love "Holds!"

My favorite thing about the library is putting things on hold...and then having them come in at just the right time. I love that I can get brand new books, CD's and movies without having to pay a dime. I've literally saved hundreds of dollars over the years this way. Love, love, love the library!
