The Library Can Help with Auto Repairs
January 27, 2011
When you think auto repair, libraries may not be the first thing that comes to your mind. But, it should be the first place you look if you’re a do-it-yourself mechanic. When my truck breaks down, I used to run to the auto parts store and buy manuals. But now, I run to the Library. The Mid-Continent Public Library has lots of auto and truck repair manuals. If your vehicle’s repair manual is not at your local Library, just ask for help. The Library Clerk at the front desk can order it in for you. It will arrive at your Branch in just a few days. The Mid-Continent Publis Library also has Repair Databases. Databases are collections of information available on the computer, and can be accessed from the Branch or from the comforts of home. So, next time your car, truck, tractor, or lawn mower breaks down, don’t worry - the Library can help.
