The Raytown Branch Adult Book Group will be discussing The Watchman by Robert Crais for their October  meetings. This is a mystery that finds a young rich girl, Larkin Conner Barkley, who is the target of killers after having a terrible car accident. She finds herself the sole witness in a secret federal investigation. When the U.S. Marshals and the finest security money can buy can't protect her, Larkins's wealthy family turns to the one man money can't buy-Joe Pike.

The Raytown Library Adult Book Group meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm and the third Thursday at 10:00 am. Usually, our groups last from 60 to 90 minutes. We have lively discussions, freely expressing our personal opinions.
