Let's Go Fly a Kite

I have always been a huge fan of anything that flies, especially kites. I could sit and watch them for hours.

Thankfully, this Saturday, April 21st, I get to do just that. Mid-Continent Public Library will be at the MCC-Longview Flights of Fancy Kite Festival in Lee’s Summit. From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., there will be kites the size of basketball courts, tons of good food, and a great family atmosphere for all to enjoy. Directions, a list of vendors, and most importantly, more pictures can be found on the festival website. The weather is going to be perfect, so come on down and visit us.
