Lee's Summit's April Teen Green Project

This month’s Teen Green Projects Night on Tuesday April 12th at 6:30 p.m. will be a jewelry making extravaganza! We’ll be making our own beads and baubles out of all kinds of recycled materials; paper, plastic water bottles, and even aluminum cans, and then put them all together to make a lovely finished piece (or pieces!). We’ll also learn a little bit about basic jewelry-making tools and techniques along the way. Here’s a sample of the recycled aluminum can beads we’ll be making, but you’ll have to join us to find out exactly how we’re going to do all of this other recycling magic. Hope to see you there!  For teens, please register.
