Laptime, Storytime, Teddy Time

August 09, 2010

Just about any day is a good day for a storytime at Red Bridge!

On Mondays and Saturdays at 10, there's Laptime, desgined for children three and under.  In addition to reading a few books, this fun and engaging story hour includes finger plays, sing-a-longs and number, letter and color work.  It's always a fun time with Ms. Carrie at Laptime!

Tuedsay Nights at 7 pm means Teddy Time with Ms. Susan.  Not geared towards a certain age group, it's good fun for everyone.  A nice session of just reading and songs - what a great way to end the day! Teddy Bears aren't required to come, but they're recomended.

Wednsday and Thursday mornings  at 10 is our themed storytime, also with Ms Susan. This storytime is geared towards children 3 to 7, although older and younger kids are always welcome.  It changes every week, with the majority of the books related to that theme.  There's a fun craft each week, also relating to the theme.  On Thursdays, there is also a short film.  This week, August 11 and 12, our theme is Ladybugs.  Next week, August 18 and 19 is Fish.

We hope to see you stop by sometime at any one of our story times!
