Keepsake Treasure
November 18, 2010
My husband and I have three young adults. When our oldest started kindergarten, I drove her to school. One day as I watched her walk down the hall to her class, a teacher whose children had grown up said to me, "Tomorrow she will graduate." My thoughts were, how can this be? Today, that daughter is in her third year of college. Our middle child will graduate this year, and our youngest will graduate in 2013. I’m thankful for the advice from mothers who encouraged me to keep a journal of the cute things they have said. One mother gave me the idea to keep their first baby shoes to hang on the Christmas tree. To add to your own keepsakes, there is a Keepsake Treasure program at the Camden Point Branch on November 29. This lovely ornament would also make a great Christmas present for a grandparent or favorite aunt.
