Kearney Teen Book Talk - Graceling

Katsa has been sent to kill a man. She doesn't really want to, but that is what she does. She is the king's killer, destined to be nothing more than a hired assassin. But when she meets a man who needs to be saved, she cannot turn her back on him. Her life suddenly turns in a vastly different direction, and she can't seem to stop the tumultuous journey to overthrow the king and take back freedom for her people. Katsa has been graced with the skills to kill, but she'll use what she has to save the lives of everyone she can.

The Kearney Teen Book Club will meet on October 28th at 7 p.m. We'll have popcorn and lots of discussion about Graceling by Kristin Cashore. Copies can be checked out by asking at the front desk of the Kearney branch. Hope to see you there!
