Kearney Branch Closed May 2-15 for Enhancement

The Mid-Continent Public Library-Kearney Branch will be closed May 2-15 for enhancement and floor repairs. The branch will reopen Monday, May 16 at 9 a.m.

As a part of the enhancement, the library will receive new carpet and paint. The floors will also undergo mudjacking and piering to repair settling in the foundation.

Patrons are encouraged to visit Mid-Continent Public Library's Liberty Branch while we are closed.

Items placed on hold the week before the closing may not become available before the branch is closed. During this time, selecting a different pickup location than the branch that is closed would be advisable for items that are immediately available. If an item has a long waiting list, it will not be necessary to choose a different pickup location. The branch's book drop will be open and will be emptied daily. 

Any holds that are not picked up at the branch before the renovation closing will still be available a full ten days after the branch reopens.
