July Blood Drive at Boardwalk

On Thursday, July 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Boardwalk Branch will be hosting a blood drive for the Red Cross.

The Red Cross does not need blood— PATIENTS do. Every two seconds, someone in America gets a blood transfusion; Every TWO SECONDS! Five million patients will need blood this year. Please help us to help patients in need by signing up for your appointment right here at the Boardwalk Branch to have your blood drawn.

The American Red Cross asks the following of a donor:

• Be healthy; this means that you feel well and can perform normal activities.
• Be at least 17 years old
• Weight at least 110 lbs
