Jingle-jingle-jingle!
April 13, 2011
No, Santa hasn’t just walked into our branch. Winter is OVER, that’s a promise! However, we are always up for the ringing of bells during our storytimes.
We have a new set of bells…on sticks! They are choke-proof and can be easily sanitized. The sticks are just the right size for little hands. On Monday of next week, they will be put to the test during our Toddler Storytime! As we plan activities, we use a wonderful book that’s available within our library system. It's entitled 101 Rhythm Instrument Activities for Young Children. This book is especially useful for childcare providers and children's librarians who present weekly programs. It is a well-used resource here at our Parkville Branch.
If you hear a strange ringing sound when you come in to visit us, just remember that spring is here, that winter is over, and the bells are here to stay!
