It's a Universal Monster Party!

Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. A big reason for this is my unabashed love of the horror movies Universal Studios produced in the 1930s.

Titles like Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, and The Creature From The Black Lagoon have been entertaining me and millions of others this time of year for over 80 years. In fact, one of my most memorable movie moments was seeing The Creature From The Black Lagoon on the big screen in its original 3D format about 15 years ago. So, this Halloween, crank up the DVD player and pop one of these classics in, preferably in the middle of the night. They definitely stand the test of time and are much better and creepier than the gore-fests that are in the theaters now.
