Looking for something cool to do this summer when the temperatures rise to unbearable levels? Check out Scholastic’s BookFlix!

With stories appropriate for preschoolers through grade three, BookFlix makes learning fun and interesting. It is a wonderful interactive program for parents to experience with their children. You can watch or read pairings of classic video storybooks and related nonfiction eBooks. Come to the library and spend some quality time exploring this together, or access this program at home through MCPL’s database remote access system. It’s the perfect resource for independent reading practice and an awesome opportunity to chill out and have fun this summer!
