It's Honey-Do Season

June 01, 2012

Now that the weather is getting really nice, it’s time to tackle some outdoor projects. Let the Riverside Branch help you! We've got a display for the month of June with lots of projects to tackle. We’ve got books with lots of how-to’s on building decks, creating a new patio, building a tree house for the kids or grandkids, making your own patio furniture and outdoor structures, and much, much more.

And when the weather is just too darned hot for outdoor projects, the Library can assist with some of our free Online Databases for your indoor projects, also. We’ve got Home Improvement Reference Center for help with plumbing, electrical, remodeling, and maintenance issues. The Gardening, Landscape and Horticulture Collection can help with questions about gardening and landscaping.

For those of you with nice shade tree to work under, give ChiltonLibrary.com a try. You can get maintenance and repair information for almost any vehicle under the sun. And if you put the Jet Ski in the lake for the first time this summer and noticed a problem, the Small Engine Repair Reference Center can give help with personal watercraft, outdoor power equipment, marine and boat motors, and many other repair issues.
