It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas

November 16, 2010

Holiday decorating is easier than ever when you have a library card. Whether you want to go “green” for the holidays with Green Christmas: How To Have a Joyous, Eco-friendly Holiday Season, or decorate with old-fashioned Southern charm using Southern Living Big Book of Christmas, we have you covered. There are CDs of holiday music to give you variety, and even one of vintage Holiday Humor, called just that.

And if you want to decorate with young children, consider supplementing the paper strip chains with “snow flake” strings. All that is required are white, round, peel-stick labels and fishing line or white thread. Have the children sandwich the thread between two labels at regular intervals and hang multiple strings to your window frames. Tape should be sufficient.
