To Install a Medicine Cabinet
November 09, 2011
Bob Villa I am not. So, when I moved into a room with its own bathroom, I changed nothing about the architecture. However, above the sink, there is just a mirror. Lacking a cabinet, my makeup, medicine, and toothpaste tube create clutter.
Every morning and every evening, I contemplate remedying this situation. I have yet to bite the bullet, despite my boyfriend’s offer of help. Tonight, I found a book that I believe will finally make me feel secure proceeding with this project. Black & Decker’s The Complete Guide to Bathrooms (3rd edition) has simple instructions and photographs that assume no prior knowledge.
Hopefully by the end of this weekend, I will prove that a librarian can use her resourcefulness to move beyond enjoyment of a novel. Indeed, I hope to see the reflection of my smiling face in the mirror of my newly installed medicine cabinet.
