I'll Take Mine Thai Spicy...
February 18, 2012
Galangal? Kaffir Lime? Coconut Milk? What do all of these exotic sounding ingredients have in common? If you know, then I'm guessing that you and I have something in common, namely a love of Thai food. Yum! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it...
But I'm going to save my appetite, and you should save yours for this Thursday, February 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lee's Summit Branch, where we will be hosting a fabulous exploration of Thai cuisine at our Flavors of Thailand program. Whether you're a lifetime fan or a first-time taster of this delicious cuisine, this is the perfect opportunity to stimulate those taste buds. Don't miss out on the flavorful fun as Chef Zoe teaches you how to prepare Phat Thai (Thai Fried Noodles) and two exotic salads: Som Tam (Papaya Salad) and a vegetarian version of Yum Ta Krai (Lemon Grass Salad with walnuts and cashews instead of the traditional pork). Don't worry; we'll end the evening by dining upon the creations! And recipes will be provided so you can recreate all of the dishes in the comfort of your kitchen.
Please sign up to attend the program here. We look forward to seeing you there!
