I Found a New Author

One of the perks of working in a library is being able to discover new authors sooner than most others. Many times I hear about these new authors from our customers. I have gotten many referrals from customers over the years for which I am very grateful.

Well, it happened again. Here at the Riverside Branch, there are several readers with tastes similar to mine. Just a few days ago, a customer shared a new author with me – Jane Casey. Jane Casey is an Irish suspense/thriller author whose stories are set in London. Right now, I’m reading The Burning. Wow, I could hardly put the book down while reading on my lunch hour, and I can’t wait to get home and continue reading. My husband may have to eat leftovers for one more night because I’ll be reading instead of fixing dinner.
