How to Beat the Traffic!!!!

With all the construction around town right now, I have a sure-fire way to beat the traffic.  Audiobooks!!!!  I have a 45 minute drive to work everyday and it really helps the ride seem less tedious.  Not only do I get to hear a great story, some of the narrators are so great, I don’t think it would matter what they read, I would listen to it. 

A couple of my favorite narrators are Jim Dale, who reads the Harry Potter series and C.J. Critt, who reads the Janet Evanovich series among many others.  They both have a great way of portraying each character and making them come alive.  As I switch off from listening to reading the book, I continue to hear the narrators in my head.  It is a different viewpoint for a story and I enjoy hearing how someone else interprets the characters and writing.
