Come and unlock the mysteries of the gas giant planets of Jupiter and Saturn or the rocky planets of Mercury, Venus, Mars and Earth. Find out why Jupiter has a great red spot, and find out how Saturn got its rings. Discover why Earth has life and why the other planets don't.  

We will be having classes on April 12 and May 10 at 2:00 p.m. On April 12, we will be discussing the gas giants and on May 10 the rocky planets. The gas giant planets include: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The rocky planets include: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars.

MCPL has interesting books on the Outer Planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) and Inner Planets (Mercury,Venus, Earth, and Mars).
