Homeschoolers @ the Library Is a Lot of Fun!

Every week, I prepare and present a program geared towards Homeschoolers, ages 7-12. This is a lot of fun! Before I decided to be a librarian, I originally wanted to be a teacher. This weekly program lets me be one for at least an hour a week.

Last week was the first day of our Homeschooling program, Homeschoolers @ the Library. We had an easy day: play games and eat ice cream! Next week on September 8th, we will be learning about the pioneers and making butter! I learn a lot of interesting things when I am preparing for these programs. I am going to practice my butter making skills this weekend before I have to do it for the class!

We would love to have some new participants join our group! We have our Homeschoolers @ the Library programs on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. Bring a friend!
