Homeschoolers @ the Library
February 01, 2012
The Lone Jack Branch has been offering programs to home-educated students for over 15 years. The program has changed its name a few times, as did this category of education. What has not changed here is the desire to make a difference in people’s lives. It seems that we would eventually exhaust the list of topics, but the world is so big, so old, and so diverse!
We look forward to sharing our excitement and our knowledge with you once again this spring at Homeschoolers @ the Library. Join us every Thursday at 10:00 a.m., beginning Feb. 2. Please check our complete list of Programs. See ya!

RE: Homeschooling at the Library - with Excellence
The Homeschooling at the Library program offerings have been outstanding. Nellie is responsive to patron input, thoroughly researches these diverse topics, and is an excellent communicator. On some occasions, there are outside presentors used, which adds value to the program overall. For those of us in the Lone Jack area, it is great to have such high-quality programming that doesn't require a long trip into town. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your kind
Thank you for your kind observation. The greatest reward for our efforts is the knowledge, that in some way we are useful to the world. It is what makes the difference between living and existing. In the end, I would be so honored to say: I have lived.
